Arc Flash
The Arc Flash NFPA 70E regulation was developed at OSHA's request in order to help companies put in place procedures to prevent injuries and fatalities due to shock, electrocution, arc flash, and arc blast.
The Safety and Health Council's Arc Flash NFPA 70E class covers:
- Definition and explanation of Arc Flash NFPA 70E and Arc Flash NFPA 70E standards
- Requirements of an electrically qualified person
- Summary of Arc Flash hazards
- Review of approach boundaries requirements
- Changes to Arc Flash NFPA 70E standard
